This workshop helps us look at ways to “get in tune” with the infants and toddlers in our care in a way that helps to build their healthy social-emotional competence so they can be ready to learn in the upcoming years as well. We will look at what healthy social-emotional development looks like in these early stages and also at the important role that the concept of “responsive caregiving” plays in the process.
Date: May 4, 6:30pm-8:30pm.
Location: Partnership upstairs conference room.
Presenter: Loraine Barker-Witkowski, Infant-Toddler Specialist, Region 7.
